A little perspective on the Meb and Skecher thing. The world could use another running shoe producer. If a hack company like New Balance can make running shoes, why can't skecher? My bet is that Meb and the boys from southern CA are going to be laughing all the way to the bank. And the world may just have a couple more decent shoes to choose from to boot.
i just had the same feeling that i had when Bill Rodgers signed with Brooks way back when. Just sad after watching him run in Tigers for so many years. Same as baseball free agency sending your best pitcher to the Yankees. It's all just a business.And that makes me sad.
ReplyDeleteIf it makes you feel any better, I cooked lunch today in my bare feet. Then again I ran on the track last night in cushioned shoes. You might want to stop reading for a while. This could get ugly.
